Im rechtsrheinischen Bonn-Beuel führt ein Fuß- und Radweg am Rheinufer entlang, der von vielen Bäumen gesäumt ist. Einer dieser Bäume musste vor kurzem gefällt werden. Doch anstatt den Baum komplett auszugraben, hat man den Baum in einer Höhe von etwa einem Meter abgeschnitten und den restlichen Baumstumpf zu einer Sitzgelegenheit umfunktioniert.

Der Sitz beinhaltet eine Sitzfläche und eine Rückenlehne, in die ein herzförmiges Loch geschnitzt worden ist. Benutzer des Sitzes haben einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Rhein und das gegenüberliegende Rheinufer.
In Bonn-Beuel, on the right bank of the Rhine, a foot and cycle path leads along the banks of the Rhine, which is lined with many trees. One of these trees had to be felled recently. But instead of digging the tree completely out, one cut off the tree at a height of about one meter and turned the remaining tree stump into a seat.

The seating includes a seat and a backrest into which a heart-shaped hole has been carved. Users of the seat have a wonderful view of the river Rhine and the opposite bank of the Rhine.
