Civil War Medal of Honor Recipient for action at Williamsburg, VA on May 5, 1862. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery in Section 54, Site 3841. He was originally interred in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in East Orange NJ and moved to Arlington in July 2001.
