You will find a large rectangular, brown and dark blue two-storey concrete building when you come to Wamberal Beach. This is a lot newer than the 50 years that this medium sized Life Saving Club has been organised.

While they have a membership of 450, about 380 are 'Little Nippers' (6 to 14 year olds in training). Their website claims that 110 would be active members in lifesaving duties. (visit link)

While training still involves the 'line and reel' activities, Inshore Rescue Boats, and Jet Skis are becoming the norm for actual rescue.

While they do a fantastic 'job' of running life saving surf Competitions and Events, and saving lives, they have also taken on a role to help save the environment, by being a 'Cash for Containers Collection Point'.
