Semper Fidelis Memorial Park at the Marine Corps Heritage Center in Triangle, Virginia, near Quantico MCB sits on 23 acres and has a series of walkways with memorial bricks, commemorative benches, rally points, and monuments erected in honor of various Marine Corps units and organizations.
Among the memorials is a plaque that was presented to the Marine Corps by the NYPD Marine Corps Association on November 10, 2011 in honor of three Marine New York police officers who died while responding to the attack on the twin towers on 9/11. The plaque is mounted on a wall near the National Museum of the Marine Corps.

NEVER AGAIN - NEVER FORGET ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WAS ATTACKED BY THE FORCES OF TERRORISM. THE DEADLIEST ATTACK THAT DAY OCCURRED AT THE WORLD TRADE CENTER IN NEW YORK CITY AND TOOK THE LIVES OF THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE. THE THREE NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT (NYPD) MARINES HONORED HERE, ALL FIRST RESPONDERS SELFLESSLY GAVE THEIR LIVES CONDUCTING RESCUE OPERATIONS INSIDE THE TWIN TOWERS IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE ATTACK. THEIR MEMORY WILL LIVE ON IN PERPETUITY.
