Newer than many of its neighbors, this beautiful two-story building constructed in 1921, sits on the southeast corner of E. 6th Street and S. Central Avenue. Its taupe-colored brick and limestone accents create a beautiful effect.

The north side facing 6th Street is divided into three parts. The center bay is 50 ft. wide and has a single recessed entry, centrally located. To each side of this entry are identical sets of display windows with brick kick plates. The second floor of this section has four sets of paired windows with recessed brick panels above. These windows are covered with wood paneling and still attractive. This portion of the building is occupied on the ground floor by Apple's Li'l Bit Country flower and gift shop.

To the east of this central portion, there are three arched windows on the second level, which are also attractively boarded. The windows are tied with continuous limestone sills, and have stone hoods and keystones. On the ground level is a single aluminum and glass entry door and to the left, a wood-framed, 21-light display window with brick kick plate. The clerestories are covered. This area is occupied by "3 @ Hair & Co." a beauty salon.

The west end of the facade repeats the east end, with three arched, boarded windows on the second level. The entrance on the ground floor is recessed beneath a corner portico. A granite column supports the second floor. The multi-light clerestories are still in place. This portion is occupied by Tucker Rentals. The entire building has a pressed tin cornice.

The west side of the building along Central Avenue has four arched windows at the northwest corner on the second level. A side entrance near the south end has a flat lintel of cast stone, with a semi-circular pediment. Ten rectangular boarded windows cover the second floor on this side. On the west wall, a mural of decorative imitation windows with shutters and draperies is painted on concrete block insets where windows formerly were. The building is beautifully done and a pleasure to view. It is Item 34 on the District nomination.
