Jacques Overhoff Sculpture Benchmark - San Francisco, CA - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

I had come to investigate this large sculpture, Sculpture Deck and Bicentennial Wings, on the campus of City College of San Francisco. The wings portion is located just off the plaza outside Batmale Hall and the deck portion is located on the plaza. The sculpture deck is a large square with vertical concrete forms, that are wavy and irregular shapes. At the very center of the square, mounted on a foot high conical post with curved sides is this benchmark disk. Since it's fully integrated into the sculpture, perhaps it was used in the design placement somehow.

The posted coordinates are ones I got from waypoint averaging by my GPSr, though in Google Maps the coordinates would appear to be N37 43.594 W122 26.965.
