This is one of many granite posts used to mark the "corner" points on the boundary lines between towns in Massachusetts, in this case, the Towns of Hamilton and Manchester. The letters "H" (for Hamilton) and "M" (for Manchester) are inscribed on opposite sides. It is a slab about sixteen inches wide and six inches thick, tapering irregularly toward the top. It is about three feet high.
To reach the marker, follow Chebacco Road 2.0 miles east from Route 22. Park where the side road branches west toward the Manchester Pumping Station. Follow your GPS west and uphill to the marker.
