Horseshoe Meadow is one of the most popular trailheads in the Southern Sierra, offering easy access to the backcountry due to its relatively high elevation starting point (10,000+ feet).

Bear boxes and restroom facilities are nearby, as well as, a walk in campground and corals for equestrian users.

The road to the trailhead, while steep and windy, is paved the entire way.
