Formerly the Hotel Brumley, this building was restored under the supervision of seven historic preservation agencies, including the National Trust for Historic Preservation, from 1981 until it reopened in 1996 as the General Morgan Inn. At the time of the historic district application, it would have been called Hotel Brumley renamed the original Grand Central railroad hotel.
