Established by the Rotary Club of Banff in 1978, this playground has been regularly updated since then. Fundraising spearheaded by the Rotary Club is anticipated to lead to a new playground equipment and additional facilities by the end of 2024.

The current playground (2023) was built in 1992 and refurbished in 2005. It is recommended for children aged 2 to 5, and has a pea gravel surface, slides, swings, and a climbing structure. There is parking next to the playground on Cougar Street.

A Play Box, containing active toys like skipping ropes and hula hoops, is available at this site for use of local residents while in the playground and adjoining park. (visit link) There is a Little Free Library in the treed park adjoining the playground.

Washrooms can be found at the Husky gas station / A&W at the intersection of Banff Avenue and Marmot Crescent.
