Nach Nordwesten hin hat man einen Überblick über den gesamten Höhenzug der Schneifel. Dort liegt auf einer Höhe von 697 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel der höchst gelegene Punkt im Naturpark Nordeifel, der "Schwarze Mann". Nach Südwesten reicht der Blick bis weit in die
Höhengebiete des Islek und nach Süden hin in die Prümer Kalkmulde.

The viewpoint with a panoramic view is located on a platform that was built on a blasted Westwall bunker. To the northwest, you have an overview of the entire Schneifel mountain range.
