This Art Deco building was built in 1930 for the brokers Henri Geoffrion and Horace Pérodeau. Its design was entrusted to the architect Henri S. Labelle. Originally, the brokerage firm Geoffrion & Cie occupied the entire ground floor, while the upper floors housed companies working in the same field. Geoffrion and Pérodeau sold the building in 1934, in the midst of the economic crisis. In 1945, it was bought by another brokerage firm, L. G. Beaubien & Cie. The latter occupied the entire building until the early 1960s, then divested in 1973. The building was then occupied by professional offices.
