The house at Gutenberggasse 13 (named after the inventor of the printing press, Johannes Gutenberg) in the 7th district of Vienna was built in 1723 and housed the inn "Zum Weisse Löwen" (The White Lion). On one corner of the building a lion with a kind of coat of arms was fixed, which contains the following chronogram:
Leo qVoqVe
VoVet
&
DILIgIt
paCeM
The letters of the chronogram are larger than the others. The chronogram gives the year 1723 and means roughly: "Even the lion has vowed to peace and loves it". Today the "Witwe Bolte" inn can be found in the same building.
