Translated from the above noted text:
The former convent of the Sisters of Sainte-Anne is the building that best attests to the institutional development of Vieux-Vaudreuil. The building, built in 1887-1888, according to plans attributed to architects Pierre Lortie et fils of Montreal, served as a school for young girls. The building was modified and enlarged in 1916 by the Montreal architect Joseph-Ovide Turgeon (1875-1933) and his assistant Siméon Brais (1886-1963), resident of Vaudreuil from 1910. The congregation remained the owner until in 2009 before selling it to private interests.
