EN: During the construction of the Brühl railway, a stone sarcophagus was excavated in the area of the Kierberg train station. It dates back to the 4th century AD and was probably part of a small cemetery in a Villa Rustica. A member of the owner's family was probably buried in the coffin, as simpler graves of the workers were destroyed over time. The stone sarcophagus is now in front of the entrance to the Max Ernst Gymnasium in Brühl.
