Saint John of Nepomuk (or John Nepomucene) [Czech: Jan Nepomucký; German: Johannes Nepomuk; Latin: Ioannes (or Ioannis) Nepomucenus (c. 1345 – March 20, 1393) is the saint of Bohemia (Czech Republic), who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of Wenceslaus, King of the Romans and King of Bohemia. Later accounts state that he was the confessor of the queen of Bohemia and he refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. On the basis of this account, John of Nepomuk is considered the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods and drowning.

Na dvou kamenných stupních je vztycen mohutný hranolový sokl s odstupenou vysokou patkou, s kartuší v prední strane a se segmentove prohnutou horní rímsou. kartuše má ve vrcholu obraz svetcova jazyka, obklopeného tremi paprsky záre. V kartuši je nápis : S/IOANNES NEPO/MVCENE IN TVO/PATROCINIO NOS/PROTEGE ET INFINE/VITAE NOSTRAE GRA/TIA DEI FRVI EX/PETE// (chronogram 1740). Na zadní strane soklu je lotopocet AD/1740//. Ze soklu se zvedá nástavec se sousoším sv. Jana Nepomuckého. SV. Jan je zobrazen v kontrapostu, s výrazne prohnutou postavou, levou ruku si opírá o stehno, v pravé si pridržuje na prsou krucifix, na který zbožne pohlíží. Má kanovnické roucho, vousatou tvár, kolem hlavy kovovou svatozár s peti hvezdami. U jeho nohou je na každé strane jeden andílek. Stojící andílek u pravé nohy drží v ruce zámek, zaklání se a vzhlíží vzhuru ke svetci, pravou ruku zvedá k ústum. Andílek u levé nohy svetce sedí na rímse soklu, pravou ruku má položenou na prsou a levou si pridržuje na koleni cíp látky. Usmívá se a dívá se vzhuru pred sebe.
