This unique apartment building is listed as a contributing building on the nomination form for the Hyde Park-Kenwood National Historic District. It is listed as having architectural significance. In keeping with International Style, it features long clean lines and little adornment.

It has also been designated a Chicago Architectural Landmark. A plaque on site reads:

Erected: 1937

Architects: George Fred Keck and William Keck

The commission on Chicago Architectural Landmarks, by the authority of the City Council of the City of Chicago, has designated this building as an architectural landmark.
