This is another 24/7 McDonald's outlet in northern New South Wales. It is right beside the main road out of central Newcastle, with a large car park behind it if you don't want to use the Drive-Through option. Access to the car park is from Shamrock Street. At the back of the car park is a You Are Here map, showing where other McDonald's outlets are in the north of NSW. (visit link)

It has a moderate sized PlayPlace. (Which has the typical Safety Rules for kids 3 - 12 years old: they must be supervised.) The ground floor of the Traveller's Rest building is used every day by this outlet, with the first floor used for functions.

The outlet also has the typical Free WiFry Hotspot, and it even has a sign advertising that. I don't remember seeing any power points or places to charge up your electronic devices.

The reason for ticking the 'Unique Design', is from the outlet using the refurbished Traveller's Rest ex-tavern for part of its services.
