In the car park of the 'Travellers Rest Maccas' at Hexham is a painted map of Norther NSW, showing where other McDonald's stores are. It has an inset painted section as a square 'thought bubble' using the 'Golden Arc' to show roughly where you are. Only the major roads are indicated.
The rectangular map is mounted below an arched 'Welcome to Hexham McDonald's' sign, on a 10cm metal pipe frame.
