This headstone is slanted at the top so as to be more readable by those who pass by. The lettering is very neat, enclosed in a rectangle, and it reads:
W.A. Robison
Nov. 21 1904
Dec. 31, 1928
A circle with "WOW" separates the years from the dates, and "Camp 703" is below. This raises an interesting question: If Mr. Robinson was a member of the Woodmen of the World, why did they not provide him a headstone, and if he wasn't, why bother referencing them? Camp 703 was indeed in Mineral Wells, per the Woodmen of the World marker for George W. Caffey, some miles away in Caddo Mills, TX.
