Cancellation Policy

Groundspeak Subscriptions

If you have purchased a Premium Membership that is auto-renewing on any Groundspeak site, including Geocaching.com, Waymarking.com or Wherigo.com, and would like to cancel your subscription, please email us. A Groundspeak team member will deactivate your membership as quickly as possible after receiving notification.

PayPal Subscriptions

If you purchased a membership through PayPal that is auto-renewing and would like to cancel your subscription, you will need to cancel the subscription in your PayPal account directly. Instructions can be found here.

Groundspeak Gift Membership Policy

The Groundspeak Gift Membership may only be redeemed for a one-year Groundspeak premium membership. The Groundspeak Gift Membership may not be redeemed for cash or any other product. Lost or stolen Groundspeak Gift Memberships will only be replaced with full proof of purchase. Void where prohibited.

A Groundspeak Gift Membership will allow the recipient to purchase a new Premium Membership, upgrade their current Basic Membership or extend their current Premium Membership by one year. Using the Groundspeak Gift Membership with an auto-renewing membership will increase the membership renewal date by one year effective at the current date of renewal. After the year has passed, the membership will continue to auto-renew.

Refund Policy

The following Refund Policy applies to all paid Groundspeak Subscription Services, both Premium and Charter Memberships.

All Memberships, Premium, Charter and free, are bound by the Terms of Use for the Waymarking.com site.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Subscription Fees will not be refunded if the Membership has been canceled due to a violation of the Terms of Use Agreement.

Monthly Renewing Subscriptions

Monthly Renewing Subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel your monthly renewing membership at any time during the month. If you choose this option, your subscription will expire 30 days from the last payment. Any amounts paid prior to your cancellation will not be refunded.

Annual Non-Renewing Subscriptions

Annual non-renewing subscriptions may be cancelled within thirty (30) days of initial registration and the amount paid to Groundspeak Inc. for this subscription will be refunded in full. Groundspeak will terminate the membership at the time of refund.

Annual Renewing Subscriptions

Annual Premium Membership subscriptions may be canceled within thirty (30) days of initial registration, or within thirty (30) days of the renewal date. Amounts paid for the "current year" by customer to Groundspeak Inc. for Premium Membership subscription will be refunded to customer in full. Groundspeak will terminate the membership at time of refund.

Annual renewing Premium Membership may not be cancelled more than thirty (30) days after initial registration, or more than thirty (30) days after the renewal date for the Premium Membership subscription, Groundspeak Inc. will not provide refunds under these circumstances.

Modification

Groundspeak reserves the right to revise the terms of this Refund Policy. Any changes made will apply to all memberships created or renewed after the date such change was implemented.
