Larry Holzapfel was a beloved member of the community. He opened a used bookstore on this spot which he ran for more than 25 years. People stopped in for more than books. He told stories of the heyday of Lake Ronkonkoma as a resort town. This is a Little Lending Library with an official tag on it, but is not included in their database at the present time.
