RECOVERY NOTE BY SOUTH CAROLINA GEODETIC SURVEY 1993 STATION IS LOCATED AT THE TOP STEP OF A CONCRETE STAIRWAY LEADING DOWN TO THE BASEMENT OF THE U.S. POST OFFICE BUILDING AND ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE BUILDING IN THE NORTHEAST ANGLE OF THE JUNCTION OF U.S. HIGHWAYS 601, 1, 521 AND STATE HIGHWAY 34 IN CAMDEN. OWNERSHIP--U.S. POST OFFICE. STATION IS A DRILL MARK IN STEP AND LEVEL WITH THE SIDEWALK, 5.0 FEET (1.5 M) WEST OF THE WEST WALL OF THE POST OFFICE BUILDING. RECOVERED BY T. HALL.
