[GER] Das Bergedorfer Schloss ist das einzig erhaltene Schloss im Hamburger Stadtgebiet. Es liegt im Hamburger Stadtteil Bergedorf direkt in der Mitte des ehemaligen Ortskerns an der Bille. Das Schloss beherbergt das Museum für Bergedorf und die Vierlande. Die Dauerausstellung präsentiert die Geschichte der Region. Jährliche Wechselausstellungen beleuchten gesellschaftliche und historischen Themen. Mehrmals jährlich zeigen regionale Künstler ihre Werke im Haus. Im Schloss finden nahezu wöchentlich Kulturveranstaltungen statt – sowohl in den Museumsräumen als auch im Innenhof des Schlosses, wo zum Beispiel im Sommer kostenloses Freiluftkino geboten wird. Im Erdgeschoss des Schlosses befindet sich außerdem ein Museumscafé. Auch ist es möglich, innerhalb der Schlossmauern zu heiraten.
Im Schloss erinnern unter anderem das Gerichts- und das im Heimatstil eingerichtete Landherrenzimmer an die Vergangenheit des Gebäudes als Verwaltungssitz.

Im Landherrenzimmer befinden sich zwei Mosaikfenster im oberen Bereich des Fensters. Beide Fenster sind ca 50x50 cm groß. Sie tragen jeweils das Hamburg-Wappen in der Mitte und sind umgeben von einem Ring mit kleinen Planzenmotiven. In den Ecken befinden sich weitere kleine Wappen.
[ENG] Bergedorf Castle is the only surviving castle in Hamburg. It is located in the Bergedorf district of Hamburg, right in the middle of the former town centre on the river Bille. The castle houses the Museum für Bergedorf and the Vierlande. The permanent exhibition presents the history of the region. Annual changing exhibitions illuminate social and historical topics. Several times a year regional artists show their works in the house. Cultural events take place almost every week in the castle - both in the museum rooms and in the inner courtyard of the castle, where, for example, free open-air cinema is offered in summer. There is also a museum café on the ground floor of the castle. It is also possible to get married within the castle walls.
In the castle, the courtroom and the country lord's room, furnished in the home style, remind us of the building's past as an administrative centre.
In the landlord's room there are two mosaic windows in the upper part of the window. Both windows are about 50x50 cm large. They each have the Hamburg coat of arms in the middle and are surrounded by a ring with small plant motifs. In the corners there are more small coats of arms.
