The 45th Infantry Division "Thunderbirds" Memorial is sited on the southeast corner of Courthouse Square in Alva, Oklahoma. A monument describes the actions of the unit in WW II and in Korea. On the east edge of the memorial are several hundred donated engraved bricks and pavers. The donated bricks are dark, and are surrounded with standard (and un-engraved) red brick.
There is another set of engraved bricks and pavers to the south, associated with the Centennial Wall.
