The metal truss Denison Bridge was built in 1870, it replaced an earlier bridge that was opened in 1856 and destroyed in an 1867 flood that washed it 2km downsream.The bridge is 7m wide and has three 34m spans between the twin metal cylinder piers. the bridge is now used for pedestrian and bicycle traffic only
