Fruit presses in Ebern
Here not far of the old town of Ebern in the district of Lower Franconia, otherwise called 'Haßberge' exists a display of two fruit presses, elder than about 125 years. Unbelievable, but certainly they were used as household appliances!
The Left (Picture!) is a so-called 'Carousel Press', the other is an old machine called 'Fruit mill'. Both are characterized in some differences: They are made of wood and iron, but the carousel press produced fruit juices of 'BIO-Character'.
The permanent display notfar of the old town of Ebern, shows furthermore old agricultural machines, like tractors and ladder wagons. No fees! Open for all interested persons from the early morning until the moon rises in the evening.
The description for all machines on display is naturally only in GERMAN language!
