Zippy visited Mrs. Chapman's Donuts back in 2001.
On this visit Zippy praised Donuts as the perfect delivery system for fat, sugar and carbohydrates. The conversation degenerated into a discussion of Einstein quantum mechanics and wave functions.
The sign in the Zippy strip saying "open 24/7" is not present (if it ever existed outside Bill Griffith's imagination) from Mrs. Chapman's Angel Food Donuts. They are open from 3AM to Midnight every day though.
