Different guides offer different trail lengths. We used the official State Park brochure which depicts a 2.5 mile hike. However, when we reached the grove at the top, we could see that the trail continued for some distance. Other guides show a 9 mile length to Post Summit. Regardless of whether you do the short or long version, it is a beautiful hike. Caution - there is much poison oak along the trail!!
Parking is free along the highway OR you may pay $10 to park in the parking lot for Andrew Molera State Park
