Part of the historical village in Heritage Park. This outdoor museum encompasses 20 authentically restored and furnished structures representing rural life in East Texas from the 1800's to the 1920's.

Edgewood Historical Society Plaque:

The church was built in 1897 by the local Methodist congregation and used until 1923. During that time it was loving referred to as "Little Church in the Wildwood". The structure was moved in 1926 to the African American community by the Bethlehem Baptist congregation and served s their spiritual center until 1993 at which time it was purchased by the Edgewood Historical Society and relocated in Heritage Park.

Restoration was made possible through funding by the Edgewood Historical Society and a generous grant from the Meadows Foundation.

The park is open on Thursday through Saturday from 9am until 12pm. Admission is $5 per person.
