La cheminée de La Poudrière, industrie qui fabriquait du coton-poudre entre les années 1916 et 1919. A l’époque, le site comptait 130 bâtiments. De cette période, il ne reste pas grand-chose, c’est pourquoi la cheminée haute de 45 mètres paraît aussi imposante, perdue dans un ensemble de bâtiments plus modernes. D’autres vestiges comme des piliers en béton qui soutenaient des réservoirs d’acide s’érigent devant l’indifférence quasi générale.


The chimney of La Poudrière, an industry that manufactured cotton powder between the years 1916 and 1919. At the time, the site had 130 buildings. From this period, there is not much left, which is why the 45 meters high chimney looks as impressive, lost in a more modern building. Other remains, such as concrete pillars supporting acid reservoirs, were erected in the face of almost universal indifference.
