EN: The French Church of Murten is located on the northeast edge of the old town right on the city wall.

The late Gothic building has a rectangular nave completed by a 5/8 chancel. Above the transition between the two parts is a ridge turret with a sharp shingled roof.

The church was built in 1481. It replaced a Katharina chapel, which had only been moved here in 1476 from a place outside the city walls. Since 1530, the church has been reformed. It mainly serves the French-speaking minority in the city, which today make up about 15%.

Das spätgotische Bauwerk hat ein rechteckiges Kirchenschiff der von einem 5/8-Chor abgeschlossen ist. Über dem Übergang zwischen den beiden Bereichen befindet sich ein Dachreiter mit einem spitzen Schindeldach.

Die Kirche wurde 1481 erbaut. Sie ersetzte eine Katharinenkapelle, die erst 1476 von einem Ort ausserhalb der Stadtmauern hierher versetzt worden war. Seit 1530 ist die Kirche reformiert. Sie dient hauptsächlich der französischsprachigen Minderheit in der Stadt, die heute etwa 15% ausmachen.

Le bâtiment de style gothique tardif a une nef rectangulaire complétée par un choeur de 5/8. Au-dessus de la transition entre les deux zones se trouve une tourelle faîtière avec un toit en bardeaux pointu.

L'église a été construite en 1481. Elle a remplacé une chapelle de Katharina, qui avait été transférée d'un endroit situé en dehors des murs de la ville en 1476 seulement. Depuis 1530, l'église a été réformée. Elle serve principalement la minorité francophone de la ville, qui représente aujourd'hui environ 15%.
