"Those dating 1819 are five: Benjamin Drummond, Solomon Baines and ex-Sheriff F. M. Bell, of Whitehall, Michael Wattrip and Wilson G. Wattrip, of Carrollton. The 1820 men are nine: Judge Martin Bowman, ex-Sheriff Jacob Bowman, Squire Abram Bowman, H. P. Clendennin, Wm. B. Pauky, Andrew Pinkerton, and Wm. Griffin, of Carrollton, and Solomon Heater and Hon. Levi T. Whiteside, of Whitehall, and so on for later years. Ex-Sheriff Singleton F.
