The Talihina First United Methodist Church was organized in 1892. The current church building was constructed in 1961 and is a simple concrete block building. The stained glass windows are so elaborate for a plain masonry building, it makes us wonder whether perhaps they were salvaged from the former church building.
The church is active with Sunday School at Worship on Sunday, and Worship on Wednesdays. They have a crafts group session at 10:00 am on Fridays. The church has a website but it does not give details of other activities and ministries.
