Katie is a populated area about 6 miles southeast of Elmore City. About 350 people live in this area, but there is no town as such. The fire station is located on County Road N3170, on the east side of the Katie Cemetery.

This is a metal building with four vehicle bays. A sign out front indicates they have 911 service for Police, Fire and Ambulance. The department has 18 volunteers. It was chartered on November 17, 1987.
