This bench is located at the southside entrance of the Elmore Ciy community center. There are two plaques on the bench.

Ernest Joice Mercer was born on January 2, 1917 and passed away on July 30, 1997. Lois E. Mercer was born April 25, 1921 and died on April 16, 1997. They were married in 1937 and had three children. Billy Ernest "Bubba" Mercer was their son. He was born December 27, 1941 and died April 1, 2012.
