Killbear Provincial Park is located along the rugged Georgian Bay shoreline near Parry Sound, Ontario. Opened in 1960 with 1 campground and 135 campsites, the park now has 882 campsites in 7 campgrounds, as well as group camping, a large modern Visitor Centre, and 3 hiking trails. The park sees between 250,000 and 300,000 visitors annually, and campsites are usually fully booked on summer weekends.
The park is popular for swimming, including the unofficial but well-known "Jumping Rocks" located near the Harold Point campground. The park offers no shortage of sandy swimming beaches. Kayaking and boating are also popular.

The park is 1760.00 ha in size, making is one of the larger "operating" parks in southern Ontario. It is open from early May to late October.
