C'est durant le week-end de la Saint Barthélémy que se déroule à Bénévent une grande fête traditionnelle : les Moutonnades Bénéventines. Au cours de cette fête, le mouton est mis à l'honneur sous ses formes les plus variés, et parfois les plus inattendues ! Les amuseurs publics viennent se mêler aux musiciens enjoués, et les chefs cuisiniers côtoient les artisans hors-pairs.
C'est à l'occasion des Moutonnades que fut réalisé ce banc, lors d'une “performance“. Bien utile pour se reposer, le plus extraordinaire est qu'il fut façonné à la tronçonneuse !
It is during the weekend of St. Bartholomew that Benevento is held a great traditional festival: Moutonnades Bénéventines. During this festival, the sheep is put in the spotlight in its most varied forms, and sometimes the most unexpected! Public entertainers come to mingle with the playful musicians, and the chefs sit side by side with the outstanding craftsmen.
It was during the Moutonnades that this bench was made during a "performance". Very useful for resting, the most extraordinary is that it was shaped chainsaw!
