Another of quite a few wooden benches on the seaside Esplanade of Brighton Beach. It is of mostly lacquered narrow, chamfered wooden slats, but with one of moderate width, near the top of the backrest, where the Dedication Plaque is inset into the wood. There are four vertical narrow slats below the dedication slat, with a further two narrow slats above, which are at two different angle, effecting a curve. The seat part of the bench has nine narrow slats, and are all held in place by the shaped metal bar seat-ends, which are curved to make it of a comfortable shape and design. The seat is bolted to the concrete pavers of the esplanade.

The cast bronze plaque (with a textured black background) for Joan, is on the left-hand (northern) end of the bench, and has been inset into the top vertical slat of the backrest, and reads:

In Loving Memory of
JOAN MARIE MUELLER (nee Brokate)
1931 - 2006
Always in Our Thoughts

The right-hand Dedication Plaque is assumed to be for Joan's husband, and has a bit more of a blue/green patina to the exposed surface. It reads:

In Loving Memory of
ARTHUR VICTOR MUELLER
1926 - 2014
Resting in God's Garden
