Evangelical Missionary Church is one of the most interesting churches in the area. It looks old though its history is unknown. It is a light tan color with contrasting blue roof. There is a tower that appears to be part of the sanctuary, also there is a second smaller tower that has octagon windows and a spire with a cross on top.
There are large elm trees at the edge of the parking lot. Overall the church and landscaping is well maintained.
Bowden is relatively small with approximately 1.250 residents and is located 45 km south of Red Deer.
