Tell us about the area the post box is situated.:
Newbiggin is a hamlet off the A6160. The box is situated in the boundary wall of a house. The maker's name, 'Allen', is the clearest I have seen an Allen.

Condition of the box: Good/Average/Poor: Good

Is this post box still in use?: Yes: Mon-Fri 4.00pm Sat 9.30am
