Almost every village in the current Czech Republic (former Czechoslovakia) has a monument devoted to the victims of WWI and WWII. Among the victims of WWII were also civilians who participated in home resistance against German occupiers or died in German concentration camps. The monuments also mention the names of soldiers of the former Czechoslovak army.
This memorial is located in front of elementary school.
The inscription on the memorial talks also about Czech pilot FORNUSEK LADISLAV, the member No. 138 Sqn of RAF
