FR Rue de l’Opéra est aujourd'hui une rue très calme

  • n°9 Domicile d’Emile Bernard
    Le 4 février 1904, le peintre Emile Bernard, de retour d’Egypte, rend visite pour la première fois à Cézanne à Aix.
  • n°18 Hôtel de Lestang-Parade Ou d’Antoine Venel, ou de Benault de Lubières, ou de Piolenc
    Construit vers 1650 par Pavillon et Rambot pour Jean Louis d’Antoine, conseiller à la Cour des Comptes, Lors du séjour de Louis XIV à Aix, Olympe Mancini, comtesse de Soissons, y résida. Acheté au XVIIIème siècle par les Piolenc, l’hôtel passa en 1762 à Antoine Joseph de Lestang-Parade.
  • n°24 Hôtel d’Arlatan Ou de Bonnecorse-Lubières
    Construit aux XVIIIème siècle pour les Arlatan de Montaud, barons de Lauris. Par les femmes, il passa aux Bonault Lubières en 1837, puis aux Bonnecorse.
  • n°25 Hôtel Portalis
    C’est dans cet hôtel qui appartint au XVIème siècle aux Séguiran que naquit en 1778 le comte Joseph Portalis, ministre de la justice sous la Restauration, premier président de la Cour de Cassation et enfin vice-président de la Chambre des Pairs en 1834.
  • n°26 Hôtel de Grimaldi Régusse Ou Laurens de Peyroles
    Dédaignant le quartier des robins, l’austère prévôt général de la Maréchaussée Antoine de Laurans de Peyrolle, de la branche cadette de la famille de Brue et de Saint-Martin, choisit d’édifier son hôtel dans le nouveau quartier de Villeneuve. Il demande en 1675 à Louis Jaubert, l’architecte ayant déjà réalisé l’hôtel de Boyer d’Eguilles et à Louis Cundier, graveur et géomètre, de réaliser « une demeure baroque mais sans emphase, qui ne manque pas d’allure et reflète l’autorité de son propriétaire ». Achever en 1690.
