Constructed in 1865, the former Star Theatre, Chiltern is a red brick rectangular hall situated at the rear of the former Star Hotel.The theatre had several uses, hosting burlesque and theatrical travelling performances, card matches, political debates, balls, concerts, wedding receptions and roller skating.
The former hotel and theatre are now an art gallery and antique shop.
