The Chesterwood Courtyard Fountain is the central feature of the circular courtyard located between Daniel Chester French's Studio and straght line garden path that extends back from the Studio. The 3' high marble cement fountain was designed by French's friend, architect Henry Bacon.

A 3' diameter circular column has a relief sculpture of putti dancing with garlands. It supports a 4' diameter basin. In the center of nozzle emits a stream of water which falls back into the basin.
