100-200 Block N. 3rd - Durant Downtown Historic District - Durant, OK - NRHP Historic Districts - Contributing Buildings on Waymarking.com

The National Register listing (Item 62 of the District nomination) indicates that the 100-200 block of N. 3rd is brick. As a clarification, we found that the 100 block is brick, only between Main and Evergreen.

This brick paving was laid in 1920 and it is amazing how well preserved it is. It runs in front of the old Plaza Theater, which was built in 1915 and was present at the time the bricks were laid. This appears to be the only section of street still showing the original brick paving.
