The "Bundeshaus" in Bonn is a complex of buildings in which the plenary sessions of the German Bundestag and Bundesrat were held from 1949 to 1999/2000. The core building, built between 1930 and 1933, served as the Pedagogical Academy Bonn for teacher training until the Second World War.
In 1949 it was converted into the provisional accommodation for the Bundestag and Bundesrat and formed the core of the developing parliamentary and government district.
The building has remained unchanged.
