Bonn. (val) This week the few remaining employees of the branch office of the Israeli embassy in Bonn are packing their last boxes. They move to the new embassy in Berlin-Grunewald.
Since this week, a complex of new and renovated old buildings on Augusta Viktoria Street houses the Embassy and Residence of the Israeli Ambassador, whose office is still vacant. According to a spokesman for the embassy, the Israelis do not want to keep the building on Simrockallee in Bad Godesberg. He could not say anything about possible buyers yet. Due to lack of space in the former Israeli Consulate General, the branch office had still been preserved.
