The J.S. Stone building was constructed in 1908 by John Seborn Stone, who ran a large livery stable. It was first occupied as a general store.

This is a two-story red brick building that is currently vacant. There are three bays on the second floor, separated by brick pilasters. Four pediments rise above the roof line at the corners, and top of each pilaster. The four window units have been boarded up. Above th windows is a continuous rusticated stone lintel, and at the center of the upper wall, a stone panel reading "J.S. STONE / 1908". The upper wall has decorative raised brick forming a zig-zag pattern across the front of the building. There are two storefronts, with a metal awning added and the clerestories boarded up.

Year of construction: 1908
