Chaparral Dog Park is the most popular of Scottsdale's three off leash parks. It covers three acres of grass with benches, water and play areas. Shade structures cover the bench and water areas. The park is divided into three sections and one of those is closed for repair on a rotating basis. The two open areas are designated for active or passive dogs. The activity level depends on the temperature so the most popular times are early morning or late evening.
